Hereditary Cancer (pre- and post-test counseling combo)

Pre-test consult (1 hr): includes a 3-generation review of both parents’ family history. Questions will focus on types and ages of cancer within the family, to assess the likelihood of hereditary cancer and which testing options are most appropriate. We also discuss how current genetic testing might clarify your cancer risks and impact your recommended screenings and personalized care plan.
Post-test consult (30 min): involves a comprehensive discussion of your test results, the implications of these results to you and your family members. This includes discussion on your cancer risks compared to the general population, as well as any potential screening or preventative options.
A flat rate of $350 covers two appointments (pre- and post-test genetic counseling). *If you choose not to have testing, you will only be charged $200 for the initial consult

Reproductive Genetics (pre- and post-test counseling combo)

Pre-test consult (1 hr): We will inquire about possible or known genetic conditions in the family, birth defects, infertility, history of pregnancy loss, and more. We discuss the likelihood of passing down conditions that may run in your family as well as the likelihood of genetic conditions or birth defects for which you have no family history. We review the current genetic testing options.
Post-test consult (30 min): involves a comprehensive discussion of your genetic test results and any possible identified health risk to current and/or future pregnancies, as well as an in depth discussion of ongoing pregnancy options or diagnostic testing options, prognosis, possible interventions, treatment, or other resources and support available.
A flat rate of $350 covers two appointments (pre- and post-test genetic counseling). *If you choose not to have testing, you will only be charged $200 for the initial consult

Family History of Known or Suspected Genetic Condition (pre- and post-test counseling combo)

Pre-test consult (1 hr): includes an in-depth review of your personal/family history, education about the genetic condition in question, and discussion about benefits and limitations to genetic testing. If you or a family member have had prior genetic testing, it is important to obtain a copy of these test results for your genetic counselor to review prior to your appointment. This ensures that the correct genetic test is ordered.
Post-test consult (30 min): Includes interpretation and review of your test results, such as implications to your health and recurrence risk for children/family members.
A flat rate of $350 covers both the pre and post-test counseling sessions. *If you choose not to have testing, you will only be charged $200 for the initial consult

Proactive Wellness (pre- and post-test counseling combo)

This is for healthy individuals who may be curious about their genetic predispositions to disease and what can be done to be proactive if those predispositions are known. This is also a great option for those with little to no known family history (e.g., adopted or other). A flat rate of $350 covers pre-test counseling (1 hr) and post-test counseling (30 min). *If you choose not to have testing, you will only be charged $200 for the initial consult

New Patient: Post-Test Consult

This is for individuals who have already had genetic testing, and would like a consult to understand/review their results and next steps, or assess whether updated genetic testing is indicated.

What's included?: review of prior test results and personal medical/family history, updated or additional genetic testing recommendations (if indicated), interpretation of prior test results, coordination of testing (if indicated), personalized counseling on benefits and limitations to testing, personalized care plan with next steps.
If you choose to pursue additional or updated genetic testing, the post-test consultation is $150.
